Ghazal Elhaei is a Director, Writer, and Producer known for crafting compelling narratives centred on underdogs who defy self-doubt and break through limitations. As the founder and president of Vancouver-based Capital G Media, Ghazal channels her strength, foresight, and compassion into creating films and content that inspire personal growth and liberation. Her work consistently empowers audiences, encouraging them to embrace their potential and find their voice.

Ghazal's directorial debut, the short film Gilded, is currently streaming on Telus Optik TV, and she is in development for her debut feature. She has also launched a non-scripted TV show, currently in the market, while producing McFly’s Movie House, a weekly film podcast dedicated to exploring lesser-known films.

Her creative vision extends beyond the film industry, directing and producing branded content for internationally recognized brands such as Ketel One, Bombay Sapphire, Nespresso, ETSY, Wheat x Disney, and Purdy’s Chocolatier. Ghazal's career spans business strategy, production logistics, and brand development, making her a multifaceted force in the industry.

With a rich background in working on sets for Netflix, Crave, Apple Studios, and Disney, Ghazal brings a wealth of experience and expertise to every project she undertakes. She advocates for gender equity in the film and media industry and business. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Gender Equity in Media Society Vancouver (GEMS Vancouver), formerly known as Women in Film and TV Vancouver. Ghazal is a standing member of the Canadian Media Producers Association.
